Our ThermoSafe® Brand division operates ISC Labs, the largest and most experienced thermo testing facility. It is the choice of the world's leading companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech, blood, laboratory and food industries. With two convenient laboratory locations—one in the East near Philadelphia, PA, and one in the West in Phoenix, AZ—ISC Labs performs industry standard ASTM and ISTA pre-shipment package tests under cGMP methodology.

Equipped with more than 20 modern environmental and product staging chambers and state-of-the-art data acquisition equipment (calibrated to NIST traceable standards), the labs expose packaging to conditions from +60°C/140°F to -30°C/-22°F and relative humidity up to 90%. Test chambers can accommodate a wide range of products, from small packages to pallet loads. An outside service calibrates data acquisition equipment every 90 days to assure accuracy of test results.

We offer various levels of testing. The lab can evaluate temperature control packaging simply to establish a baseline of performance, or fully qualify it to produce a report that meets federal regulatory compliance guidelines. The test report is included in the qualification test fee. We provide it to you in binder format and/or on a disk.

Dedicated test chambers are available for purchase, maintained for life by ISC Labs, to ensure that your testing receives first priority. Distribution testing is available, including ASTM, ISTA and U.N./IATA. Dangerous Goods certification is also available.
