Joe Heinlein joins Tegrant Corporation, Protexic Brands as Vice President of Strategic Sourcing

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, ILLINOIS - (June 22, 2009) - Robert Morris, President of Tegrant Corporation's Protexic Brands Business Unit, is pleased to announce that Joe Heinlein has accepted the position of Vice President of Strategic Sourcing. Heinlein will be overseeing the procurement and strategic sourcing function within Protexic Brands and will be a member of the Protexic Brands' Lead Team based in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Heinlein comes to Tegrant Corporation with over twenty years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, including supplier management in Asia, Europe and Mexico.

Prior to joining Tegrant, Joe was Vice President of Global Strategic Sourcing for ACCO Brands. In this role, he was responsible for the formation and implementation of the strategic sourcing group following the ACCO and General Binding Corporation merger. Previously, Joe had a successful career at General Binding Corporation where he held the position of Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing. overseeing the sourcing function of a worldwide manufacturing group. He also held positions as Purchasing Manager and as Buyer/Planner at Sundstrand Aerospace and JC Whitney & Company earlier in his career.

Joe earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Arizona State University and is a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) from the Institute of Supply Management. He is also a member of the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) and the Procurement Strategy Council.
